The Clearance Axis upgrade for your ATC

Tall stock, vises and fixtures shouldn't have to fight your tool changer for space. The Clearance Axis adds a retract motion to your ATC. It lifts the carousel and its hanging tools out of the way while you machine, then drops them back into position for every tool change.

• Fully automatic. It's built into the normal PathPilot tool-change sequence, so there's nothing new to program.
• Manual control when you want it. A lighted switch raises or lowers the axis on demand. The light tells you when it's ready, and the switch locks out while a tool change is running.
• Safety first. The carousel won't index or home while the axis is up, and a short delay before movement keeps hands clear.
• Same 8-10-12-tool capacity, keep your tool storage capacity
• Easy to turn off. A simple jumper disables the feature and returns the ATC to stock behavior.
