DIY/Build your own ATC mechanicals for a fraction of the cost of an OEM ATC. These mechanical drawings is for a direct bolt on system providing all points of adjustment to allow for all alignments to your machine to ensure perfect tool placement and recovery operations.

Files include 2 ATC design options, So choose your build from either a Belt or Direct gear drive for tool fork carrousel rotation. Both designs have been built and are on operational machines.

How it works

ATC is Pneumatically driven in/out and proximity sensor referenced at tool load position.

Tool carrousel/tray rotation is Stepper motor driven as well as proximity sensor referenced.

Enclosure door is opened/closed by mechanical linkage during tool load sequence.

Main model file is featured in a 12 tool format. You can easily change the model to fit 8 and 10 tool (disc designs included) For Path/pilot.
